I am a crop science senior from a small family farm about 35 miles west of St. Louis called Marthasville, MO. I grew up showing and raising Limousin cattle and we also had corn, soybean, wheat, grain sorghum and hay fields. Currently I live on my fiancé’s family farm in Ripley, Ok (about 30 minutes south east of Stilly). We raise Angus, Limousin and Lim-flex cattle which the majority of our cows are old show heifers. We also have three paint horses, a beagle, a blue healer and a welsh corgi puppy. I enjoy showing cattle, working on the farm (working in general…keeps me out of trouble), shopping (just as every girl), riding horses, gardening, going to tractor pulls (the genuine tractor pulls) and school. I am in the Agronomy Club and compete on the Weed Science Judging team. I also work for row crop weed science at the OSU Agronomy Farm and have begun my master’s research in controlling southern sandbur in bermudagrass pastures using herbicides and fertility treatments with Dr. Don Murray. |
I’m a junior at OSU studying crop science. I from Weatherford Oklahoma and was raised on a family farm where we grew Milo and Wheat and raise cattle. If it matters to anyone we run only Case International equipment. I wrestled from when I was little to my junior year in high school. In High School I went to welding school at Western Technology Center in Burns Flat Oklahoma. After high school I attended Tulsa welding school before coming to OSU. I have been dating my wonderful girlfriend Kathryn Lowry for three years. I enjoy hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers at the sand dunes, farming, watching OSU wrestling, and spending time with Kathryn. Keenen at the Science Museum in London. |
